Beer was brewed here "Probably the best beer in the world" The coppers are long gone. The mighty old grain silo converted into luxury apartments. Raging fires no longer roar in the boilers. Where beer was once brewed "probably the best beer in the world" High rise developments and shopping malls now stands. A piece of history has been torn out of Copenhagen. Only a a restaurant a couple of bars and curio shop remains. But in the old stables the mighty dray horses still stand placidly waiting to pull old brewer carts filled with laughing tourists. The old Carlsberg brewery has gone forever and will never come back.
